When I say this is on repeat in our house, I’m not joking. I use this recipe for wraps, Mexican night, gyros, as a side dish for curry - the possibilities are endless. I love that these are preservative free and actually pretty nutrient rich thanks to the full fat dairy!
I’m a huge fan of Recipe Tin Eats and this is my adaption to her recipe. Super easy, delicious, real food!
Four Ingredients Flat Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of whole meal flour. I like a 25/75 mix of rye to whole meal.
- 50g of butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp Salt
Method:
1. Microwave milk and butter together until butter is melted.
2. Combine flour, salt and wet ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
3. Cover and rest dough for 30 minutes.
4. Seperate into 6 even balls and press with your palm to flatten into a round shape before rolling the dough out until it’s approx. 1-2mm thick.
5. Cook in a hot pan for about 1.5 minutes either side of until golden and puffy.
6. Cover with a tea towel before serving to avoid them drying out.
